An aspect of the film that makes it stand out is the diversity and representation captured in both the cast and crew. The talented trio combined emotional dialogue with comedic timing to create both thought and laughter. The film stars Sinqua Walls, Christina Milian, and Jay Pharoah. However, while beginning her new gig she finds herself becoming the intended entertainer for her ex-fiance’s wedding. The tropical scenery of the southeast African island becomes a reunion rather than an escape for singer Erica who flees New York City in order to forget about a breakup and failed engagement.
